ONE Massachusetts is striving to build stronger, healthier communities for every person in our state. In order to do this, we focus on campaigns build civic engagement, and reform revenue and our state government processes - goals that cannot be achieved individually and can be best accomplish by working together through a participatory, democratic government.

AN ACT TO PROMOTE EFFICIENCY AND TRANSPARENCY IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
In order to increase transparency in the way our state government grants tax credits to corporations, Senator James B. Eldridge and Representative Carl M. Sciortino have sponsored, along with forty-one State Representative and nine State Senator co-sponsors, an Act to Promote Efficiency and Transparency in Economic Development [Senate Bill S00153].

AN ACT BY TEENS, FOR TEENS, TO DESIGN, PILOT, AND IMPLEMENT CIVICS AS A HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENT
We are endorsing An Act By Teens, For Teens to Design, Pilot, and Implement Civics As A High School Graduation Requirement [Senate Bill S00183], written by teenagers from the student advocacy group, Teens Leading The Way, and sponsored by Representative Harrriette L. Chandler.

AN ACT TO INVEST IN OUR COMMUNITIES
We are endorsing the "Act to Invest in Our Communities" sponsored by Representative James O'Day and Senator Sonia Chang-Diaz [House Docket 02261 & Senate Docket 1012] because we believe this bill is a step forward in creating a more equitable tax system for all and in addressing our current revenue shortfall.
